The agency is part of a nearly century-old network of high-quality disability service providers, and together, we strive to change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day. While Easterseals Midwest is part of a strong national network, all of the services we provide were designed in and for the Missouri communities we serve. Our board of directors is local, and we have full control of program and funding decisions. We have been active in Missouri for more than 50 years, helping to build communities where all people with developmental disabilities have equal opportunities to realize their goals, dreams, and aspirations. Currently, we support nearly 5,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities through the following programs: AUTISM SERVICES Our autism services, which include parent training and early interventions, provide help and hope for more than 2,000 individuals and families impacted by autism. COMMUNITY LIVING SERVICES Our community living services support more than 575 individuals with developmental disabilities as they live in homes of their own and participate in the community. EARLY CHILDHOOD SERVICES Our early childhood services help nearly 300 at-risk children achieve more in life through therapies, our early education center, and home visits. EMPLOYMENT SERVICES Our employment services support more than 800 teens and adults with developmental disabilities as they build job skills and find and maintain competitive employment in the community.
