The Institute of Community Services, Inc. (ICS) was established in 1966 to provide comprehensive child-development services to children and families in Northwest Mississippi. ICS has Head Start centers which are NAEYC accredited, centers which are permanently structured, and partner centers with local school systems and local childcare facilities including: Head Start in 20 centers in 13 counties of Northwest Mississippi Early Head Start Office of Children & Youth (OCY) child care certificate program Head Start with blended services in public elementary schools, and services with child care centers. ICS is a private nonprofit organization with management staff in Holly Springs, Mississippi, and an area of Mississippi known as the Golden Triangle. ICS operates 20 centers in 13 counties, serves 3,639 children and families, and has more than 800 employees. We use the team approach to management and have teams at every center. At the central office level we have four teams; family and community partnership, early childhood development and education services, field services, and program management and design. ICS strives to provide in-depth services to each enrolled child through comprehensive daily planning based on individualized goals.

Agape Child & Family Services is a Christian-based organization providing children and families with healthy homes throughout the Mid-South. Through support and wrap-around services, Agape seeks to provoke community restoration. Agape's services include: homeless services, foster care, adoption, maternity services and counseling, school-based initiatives and community support and referral. Communities In Schools of Memphis (CISM) is a part of the national Communities In Schools (CIS) network, known as the leading and most effective dropout prevention organization in America, and the only such organization that is proven to decrease the dropout rate and increase on-time graduation rates. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. At CISM, we work to remove the non-academic barriers that prevent student success in the classroom. The barriers that keep students from staying in school and graduating are numerous and widespread. They may be hungry, lack parental involvement, be homeless or at-risk of losing their housing, go without proper clothing and live in neighborhoods where there is violence, drugs and gangs. Students with unmet needs have a hard time learning which is why CISM, in partnership the Achievement School District and Shelby County Schools, works to provide and broker daily school-based interventions to students in grades K–12 to address academic failure, truancy, behavioral issues, social service needs and more.

As part of our commitment to promote social participation and inclusion, C.A.S.E. offers onsite Educational, Social and Recreational Programs for individuals and small groups.
