HUG is a R&D facility focused on creating more sustainable buildings and landscapes. My role was to assist in brainstorming sessions regarding anything around building science, building health, or mechanical contraptions to aid in any of the above, then to model/test and to turn the concept into reality, provide feedback/ results.I led the system design and installation of 76 air heat collectors and the associated air handling system. Manufactured multiple prototypes and custom mechanical contraptions/fixtures across multiple industries including plumbing, HVAC, steel work/machining to name a few. Maintained impeccable shop space and supported the needs of Grounds, Construction, and Horticulture staff.
