This transformative initiative, situated at the former Butler mine site closed 35 years ago, marks the first fully integrated Green Steel project in North America. The Pelletizing facility, over 50 percent complete, represents a record-breaking investment in Minnesota. Mesabi Metallics has already invested more than $1.5 billion and completed over 3 million man-hours.
