Maple River Grain & Agronomy LLC was formed on June 1, 2004 with the merger of the Farmer's Cooperative Elevator Company of Prosper, AGP Grain of Casselton, and Chaffee-Lynchburg Farmer's Elevator. Construction of the new grain facility in Casselton, ND began on April 16, 2004. The facility became fully operational in April of 2005. The fertilizer plant construction started on May 7th, 2008. The shop, chemical, and seed warehouse became operational January 1, 2012. MRGA Facility Facts Grain Grain Storage Capacity: 7.6 million bushels (company wide) Shuttle Facility Storage: 2.5 million bushel (Casselton) Drying Capacity: 17,500 bushels per hour (Casselton) Receiving Capability: 75,000 bushels per hour (Casselton) Loading Capability: 90,000 bushels per hour (Casselton) 3 separate unloading driveways with RFID automated scales in & out (Casselton) Agronomy Fertilizer Plant Capacity: 38,000 tons Bulk Seed Storage: 35,000 units Retail and wholesale loading bays Fully automated loading and blending 36,000 sq. ft. of flat storage for seed (12) bulk storage chemical tanks ranging from 2,400-10,000 gallons
