Hiawatha Homes is made up of two 501(c)3 non-profit organizations: Hiawatha Homes, Inc. and Hiawatha Homes Foundation. Hiawatha Homes supports approximately 120 children and adults in Olmsted County with developmental disabilities, physical health needs, brain injury, specialized medical needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and emotional and behavioral health needs. Since opening in 1976, Hiawatha Homes has expanded to respond to the needs of the community. Currently, services include supporting individuals in twenty-one residential-based homes, respite care, family support services, and in-home support.
