Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis provides essential services to people of all ages and backgrounds to sustain healthy relationships, ease suffering and offer support in times of need. RS EDEN helps people build new beginnings by overcoming barriers including homelessness, substance abuse, and past incarceration. Through our supportive housing, reentry, and substance use recovery programs, RS EDEN's staff connects the people we serve with a continuum of care that puts them on a path to find stable housing, get and stay sober, build community, and more. Our clients are writing new stories as they build new beginnings. The Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ) exists to permanently close the achievement gap and end generational poverty in North Minneapolis. Together with our partner organizations, we are walking side by side with low-income families as they put their children on a path to college. NAZ has a game-changing approach that is closing the achievement gap. NAZ’s wraparound framework effectively supports low-income children of color so that they will graduate from high school prepared for college. Our approach is working. NAZ-enrolled families are making remarkable strides. Our children are not only showing improved academic outcomes at key kindergarten and third grade benchmarks, but families are stabilizing their housing, employment, and health. These early successes are already driving a culture change in North Minneapolis. Return on investment. A study by Wilder Research demonstrates that each dollar invested in NAZ provides more than a $6 societal return.

The Leo A. Hoffmann Center (LAHC) is a private, nonprofit corporation committed to providing a continuum of care within our outpatient mental health services and residential facility that supports quality individualized services for youth, adults and families. The Hoffmann Center has a long history of successfully treating adolescents with sexual behavior problems, many of whom also have comorbid cognitive, behavioral, and emotional / psychiatric needs. In 2019, LAHC was recognized for 40 years of serving youth, and is recognized for its good standing and relationships with the Department of Human Services (DHS), Department of Corrections (DOC), and Council on Accreditation (COA).

Functional Industries, Inc. is a vocational rehabilitation service provider which assists individuals with disabilities to overcome barriers to employment.

Living Word Christian Center is a Word of Faith, non-denominational, full gospel church. Our mission is reaching and harvesting lost souls for Christ and teaching the Body of Christ how to effectively apply God's principles to have victory in every area of life. Living Word is a place where people can come to learn to use the Word of God as the Covenant of God, thus building a relationship with God, and not just being religious.

Director of Administration (Functional titles: Fiscal Director, Human Resource Director, and Facilities Manager) • Developed, directed, and implemented all fiscal and human resource policy and procedures. • Managed $2.1 million annual operating budget from 19 distinct funding streams. • Successfully oversaw large projects including office move, shelter remodel, rewrite and development of agency policy and procedures manual, and hiring process for many key positions within the agency. • Served as controller, office manager, and technology officer for shelters and corporate offices. • Built relationships with vendors, organizations, and corporations for financial and in-kind support. • Worked in coordination with the Executive Director and Development Director to secure funding from public entities, corporations, and foundations of approximately $1 million annually. Interim Executive Director (October 2005 – April 2006) • Successfully oversaw internal operations and external communications. • Facilitated search process for Executive Director with Board of Director’s Search Committee.
