SEWARD COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE, INC.
SEWARD COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE, INC.
Minneapolis, Minnesota
201-500 employees
Cooperatives are member-owned, member-governed businesses that operate for the benefit of their members according to common principles agreed upon by the international cooperative community. In co-ops, members pool resources to bring about economic results that are unattainable by one person alone. Regardless of the goods and services provided, co-ops aim to meet their members needs. Most food co-ops are consumer cooperatives, meaning that our retail co-op is owned by the people who shop here. Members exercise their ownership by patronizing the store and voting in elections. The members elect a board of directors to hire, guide and evaluate the general manager who runs day to day operations, and in turn hires the rest of the staff. Seward Co-op holds a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair each spring, with hundreds of people gathering to meet local farmers. Purchasing a CSA share helps cover a farm's yearly operating expenses and connects consumers to the bounty and risk that farmers take in growing healthful, local food. Through Seward Co-op's SEED program, co-op customers can donate to a different recipient every month by choosing to "round up" their purchases at the register. SEED raised more than $500,000 for local organizations since 2012, thanks to customer donations. Seward Co-op was selected "Best Natural Foods Grocery" by local publication City Pages in 2013, 2012 and 2010. Interested in employment opportunities? www.seward.coop/careers

AERO SERVICE GROUP, INC.
AERO SERVICE GROUP, INC.
St. Louis Park, Minnesota
201-500 employees
The hospitality industry is very competitive and today’s diners have a higher set of standards. Our operations believe in “Street Level Priorities,” which is a multi-level, multi-discipline program that compels us to respect and compete for each traveler’s “choice” to dine with us as if we had the same level of competition as on the street. Among other things, this means providing highly desired and value-driven dining options. An enticing atmosphere is the first thing an airport guest notices. Although location and convenience is generally the primary motivator for food and beverage, an unwelcoming façade will stop any hesitant traveler. Aero Service Group ("ASG") strives to create a welcoming, clean, enjoyable and functional space for travelers, employees, and guests at all of our locations. Keeping to corporate specifications of our franchise partners is important in the development of a location, but upkeep and follow-up is crucial to maintaining expectations. ASG also believes that it is our responsibility to give back to the communities where we do business. Through reduced and/or free services or purchasing tables at charity functions, Aero Service Group has given thousands of dollars to organizations such as the USO, VFW, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness, Children’s Hospital and the MSP Airport Foundation. In addition, we encourage and support our staff’s participation in activities that benefit our local communities. We also reach out to our food and beverage vendors to incorporate their organizations in giving back. The dedication and longevity of ASG’s management team has allowed the company to grow and develop using the best practices in the hospitality field while tailoring it to the demanding atmosphere of an airport. With over 90 years of combined experience in the Food & Beverage industry, we have successfully developed, marketed, operated and managed national, regional and local full- and quick-service brands.
