The mission of Cancer Services is to provide personal and compassionate support to cancer patients and caregivers in our community and we have been doing this since 1948! The services we offer are extensive and carry our 500 clients through their cancer journey from diagnosis to the end of treatment. All services cover urgent, non-medical needs and are provided free of charge. Cancer Services offers door to door transportation to treatment, financial aid, support groups, wellness classes, private counseling, clergy services, wigs, bras, prosthesis, food supplements, adult briefs, walkers, wheelchairs and any other gear people need but never wanted to.

The Arc of Midland is an affiliate of a national organization that works locally to facilitate and provide support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their parents and family members, so they can have the power to achieve full and satisfying lives. Founded as an orphanage in 1883, Lutheran Child and Family Servics is a faith-based organization that provides a wide range of social services to support children in crisis and vulnerable families. Today, Lutheran Child and Family Services is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) member agency of the United Way of Central Indiana and provides residential treatment to boys and girls ages 6-21 at Lutherwood Residential Treatment Center and Lutherwood Academy, in partnership with Indianapolis Public Schools. We also offer community based services including: Trinity House Group Home, The Center for Growth and Change, and The Sharing Place Food Pantry and Diaper Bank.
