Family & Children Services responds to each community's changing human service needs and invites community members to join us through donation and volunteer service. The Agency offers a continuum of child welfare, behavioral health and crisis services as one organization - board, staff and foster parents - with a unity of purpose. Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a member organization of Goodwill Industries International. Goodwill sells donated goods to fuel its mission of job training and placement opportunities to help people create better futures by building their skills and finding jobs.

Mission India's programs—developed by Indians for Indians—benefit our network of indigenous ministry partners, draw on grassroots volunteers across India, and are available in 25 Indian languages. Adult Literacy Classes are providing illiterates with vital skills to change their lives for the better, and introducing many to the Gospel for the first time. For each program, we provide materials, we train partners how to use the materials, and we require partners to report back the results of the program when it is completed.

Believing in the dignity of all people, the objective of REAL Services is to assist in establishing a community in which those we serve can maintain their independence to the maximum degree possible and find meaning and satisfaction throughout their lives. To fulfill our mission, the programs we offer enhance quality of life. Additional programs provide education for individuals and families through Options Counseling, Aging and Disability Resource Center, Lunch n’ Learns, Chronic Disease Management, Medicare Counseling, Financial Literacy, and more. REAL Services is an umbrella organization for more than 20 programs that assist elderly, disabled and low-income individuals in 12 Northern Indiana County. Our programs address the needs of education, nutrition, self-sufficiency, and protection for 30,000 people in northern Indiana each year. REAL Services has three "divisions"​: Area Agency on Aging, Community Action Agency, and Alzheimer’s Services. These three divisions serve vulnerable older adults and low-income persons of all ages. The emphasis of the Area Agency on Aging is to assist older people to maintain independence as much as possible. The emphasis of the Community Action Agency is to assist low-income families to achieve self-sufficiency. Alzheimer’s Services of Northern Indiana provides support to those suffering from dementia. REAL Services is the Area Agency on Aging for the Older Americans Act which builds a network of services for older adults and the physically disabled. Community Services programs, which support single parents and low-income families, are designed to break the cycle of dependence on public assistance. REAL Services, believing in the dignity of all people, will provide services without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, or status as a veteran.
