Gleaners Community Food Bank, with broad community support, works to solve hunger in southeastern Michigan. In collaboration with our member agencies, the Feeding America network, and our program partners, we provide millions of pounds of donated and purchased food to people in need. In so doing, Gleaners is committed to distributing high quality food. Through education and advocacy, we will reduce reliance on the emergency food system. Gleaners adopts best practices and cost-effective systems and procedures to achieve the highest possible return on its human and financial resources. Gleaners fulfills its role with a sense of compassion and urgency while nourishing, sustaining and advancing hope in our community. Gleaners distributes tens of millions of pounds annually of emergency food to more than 400 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties. PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a unique program of long term care that allows elderly adults to remain in their home. We work with you and your loved ones to provide the support at home, medical treatment, and social interaction needed to remain in the community you love. The key to your success is our care team. This is a team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, therapists, and transportation staff who are familiar with you and your needs. The care team meets daily to discuss all aspects of your care and provide services when appropriate. Our physician is a geriatrician specializing in the care of adults as they age. We encourage caregivers to remain involved by providing frequent communication and supportive services including respite care. PACE of Southwest Michigan serves Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties.

The Children's Assessment Center (The CAC Houston) provides a safe haven to sexually abused children and their families; a place where they can receive the kind of care and treatment they so richly deserve. Our goal is to promote the complete healing of child victims of sexual abuse and their families. We are the Children's Advocacy Center for Houston/Harris County and we employ an extraordinarily effective multidisciplinary team approach in the prevention, assessment, investigation, referral for prosecution and treatment of child sexual abuse. Our mission is to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families, and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community. The CAC Houston is an accredited member of the National Children's Alliance, part of a national movement to create child-friendly intervention systems for sexually abused children, and a member of the Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas. We are also one of the largest child sexual abuse advocacy centers of its kind in the nation. As a collaborative public/private partnership of Harris County Commissioners Court and The Children’s Assessment Center Foundation, The CAC Houston represents a true partnership of the public and private sectors joining to provide the most effective service delivery to children and families.

Senior Neighbors is a bridge that connects older adults to each other, to services, to resources, and to the community. They augment a senior’s own skills and resources, allowing older adults to age in place with dignity, and integrate socially with people of all ages.

MRC Industries, Inc. serves individuals living with developmental or learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, emotional impairments and mental illness. The organization began in the 1940's when a group of parents took the initiative to provide alternatives for their disabled children. Incorporating officially in 1969, MRC has remained close to its family roots while evolving into a non-profit agency that administers innovative and diverse services through its programs: McKercher Services, Pathways Clubhouse, and BridgeWays. MRC's service philosophy is that every person is unique, valuable, and entitled to be treated with respect and dignity. Person-centered programs and services focus on individual needs, desires, strengths, and abilities-supporting people to become independent at home, at work, and in the community. In all programs and services, MRC's highly trained staff members have made a career choice to work with people with disabilities. Funding sources include individual donor contributions; community-wide fundraising events like the Kalamazoo Klassic; federal, state and local grants; Community Mental Health; the Greater Kalamazoo United Way; fees for contracted work; and gifts to the Annual Campaign and Endowment.
