KEPS SPG provides advanced on-line boiler cleaning technology called shock pulse generators (SPGs) through our partner Explosion Power GmbH in Switzerland. This technology uses very short duration pressure pulses to provide effective on-line boiler cleaning in difficult environments. The technology is well established for biomass and waste-to-energy facilities in Europe and Asia with units installed at more than 120 plants, but is not well known in the US and Canada. The technology has also been proven in environments with non-fly ash type deposits where the deposits contain alkali metals that make them difficult cleaning applications. In most cases our system is substanitally more effective in cleaning debris from the boiler tubes than a traditional sootblower.
