The Fair Housing Center of West Michigan is a profit, non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to prevent and eliminate illegal housing discrimination, to ensure equal housing opportunity, and to promote inclusive communities.

First Steps was created to be an independent and influential entity that, in collaboration with other community stakeholders, sets and advances the agenda and priorities for early childhood work in Kent County. As an objective and neutral organization, we work to ensure that services are high quality and aligned. We convene leadership from various fields such as education, healthcare, and social services to enhance communication and coordination. First Steps, the Great Start Collaborative, and other community partners have identified the components that must be in place for a coordinated system and are developing strategies to make sure the necessary services are available and accessible. We also are building the public and political will to support and sustain the early childhood system.

It was an honor to work for the Healthy Homes Coalition with their mission to prioritize children's health and wellbeing by eliminating harmful housing conditions. While on their team, I was able to take on the role of the Salesforce database administrator in order to build program capacity and optimize the time that program staff spent in the home with families. • Gathered and prepared information on program outcomes to assist with report building. • Reviewed program data to provide input to improve program outcomes and outputs. • Regularly collaborated with coworkers to review and update processes. • Drafted and proofread communications content including newsletter, website, E-news and Facebook.• Coordinated direct service and supervisor schedules. • Prioritized and oversaw completion of weekly tasks. • Organized and maintained office materials and files. • Assisted Executive Director to plan and execute fundraising events.

- Assisted with preparing and successfully gaining a three-year CARF accreditation for a long standing mentalhealth company providing PSR to adult SPMI and DD clients. - Responsible for creation, implementation, and maintenance of ICL’s Quality System processes, to include Corrective and Preventive Action, Validation and Qualification, Management Review, Training and Resource Management - Monitor and report internal and external quality metrics by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. - Responsible for the strategic improvement of workflow processes relating best practices and outcomes. - Assist and work in collaboration with the project manager in ensuring a smooth workflow of data and outcome measures.
