The Ruth Mott Foundation is a private family foundation established by Ruth Mott, philanthropist and wife of automotive pioneer Charles Stewart Mott. Founded in 1885 as the Builders Exchange of Detroit and Michigan, the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) is the oldest and largest construction association in North America. Based in Bloomfield Hills, CAM is a not-for-profit organization supported by annual dues and service fees. CAM is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors, which is elected annually by over 2,000 member companies. CAM’s membership is comprised of general contractors; specialty/sub-contractors; equipment and material suppliers; and service firms (architects, engineers, attorneys, financial management, etc.). The mission of CAM is to provide service, information and assistance to the construction industry. The Association exists to foster growth in the construction industry and encourage networking between members and their publics. Center for Community Progress is the only national organization dedicated to the revitalization of vacant properties. We help meet the growing need in America's cities and towns for effective, sustainable solutions to turn vacant, abandoned and problem properties into vibrant places. Our work includes policy development, technical assistance and capacity building, research, advocacy, and network building. We also host the Reclaiming Vacant Properties Conference, bringing together hundreds of practitioners and policy makers to learn cutting edge strategies to revitalize vacant, abandoned, and problem properties.

The Community Foundation of Greater Flint is a tax-exempt public charity created by and for the people of Genesee County. CFGF enables people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the issues they care about - immediately or through their will. Donors can establish a charitable fund at the foundation by contributing a variety of assets. Those assets are then carefully invested by the foundation. Established in 1988 through the merger of The Flint Public Trust, founded in 1950, and the Flint Area Health Foundation, created in 1978, the resulting Community Foundation combined the strengths of these two Flint institutions to position itself for future growth and giving. Since the merger, assets have grown from $10 million to more than $182 million. Over 10,000 contributors ranging from modest to magnificent means have enabled the Community Foundation to award more than $100 million in grants to the greater Flint area from over 450 charitable funds.
