SHANNON PRECISION FASTENER, LLC
SHANNON PRECISION FASTENER, LLC
Madison Heights, Michigan
500+ employees
Shannon Precision Fastener, LLC, was formed in 2004 with the aim of fundamentally reducing variation in the fastener production process. Variation is the enemy of consistent, repeatable quality and cost. Today Shannon can routinely hold half of traditional tolerances. This is accomplished by leveraging current technological advances. Shannon employs multi-die progressive cold formers, allowing individual control of critical characteristics as well as extrusion of both heads and bodies. This control and repeatability from lot to lot allows trouble free automated feeding. Extruded heads with fully filled out corners not only enhance the appearance of our customers’ products but also facilitate longer assembly tool life. Extrusion also promotes better material flow during the forming process itself, yielding a stronger, more reliable fastener. Shannon studies and improves every process from wire preparation, to forming, to hardening with an eye to providing you a better fastener at a lower cost. Our job is to create value for you, our customer.

Aperam is a world-leading stainless steel company with sustainability at its heart. Since its launch in 2011, Aperam has become an undisputable global player in stainless, electrical, and specialty steel. With a flat stainless and electrical steel production capacity of 2.5 million tonnes in Brazil and Europe, Aperam has customers in over 40 countries. This success is the result of a community of 10,700 employees who are working hard to make Aperam consistently better. Together, the company and its people are embracing sustainable development, a factor that is at the very heart of Aperam’s strategy of providing steel and alloy solutions that are affordable, and long-lasting, and that offers the strength, versatility, and endless recyclability needed to build a sustainable society. With its new Recycling and Renewables segment (BioEnergia, ELG, Recyco), Aperam has put itself at the forefront of the circular economy. In Europe, its production processes use about 90% scrap metal. Aperam is also unique as it is producing charcoal from its own FSC®-certified forestry in Brazil, which is then used in the steel-making process as a natural and renewable substitute for fossil fuels. Today, around 30% of Aperam’s workforce create value from working in Recycling and Renewables upstream. Aperam is also committed to making its products both sustainably and safely. Thanks to efforts like these, which go above and beyond what is required, Aperam’s CO2 footprint ranks as sector leading, and its overall sustainability performance consistently receives top ratings from external analysts. Warner Brothers aluminum castings are manufactured in an aluminum casting foundry that began in 1955. We are a full service aluminum casting foundry that services all industries requiring aluminum parts in the United States. Non-destructive testing of your aluminum castings ensures your complete satisfaction. Our aluminum casting foundry is located in the greater Detroit area. Whether you require 5 aluminum castings or 5,000 we are your best source. You are guaranteed that your aluminum part is manufactured 100 % in the United States, along with all of our tooling. These are American made aluminum castings, the best in the world. Warner Brothers is also expert in the production of bronze castings, brass castings and copper alloy castings. We are your best choice for all non-ferrous casting applications. At Warner Brothers, we use Air-Set sand to make Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, and Copper alloy castings. This molding sand offers minimum porosity while maximizing dimensional stability for sand castings plus improved mechanical properties. In addition, having a sand reclamation and stringent metallurgical controls reduces “our cost” which reduces “your price". We have found that engineered sand castings have eliminated costly weldments and assemblies with a one piece sand casting properly designed. This savings is available to you in all alloys.
