We are an organization dedicated to expanding access to care and improving quality for children's mental health services. We do this primarily by working with schools and school systems to improve their service capacity, with a focus on managing traumatic stress in children. This includes individual and group center evidence-based practices for children, mindful training for students, teachers, and other professionals, and consultation on improving school environments overall. Since 1995, we have consistently demonstrated effective and sustainable ways to expand access to proven mental health treatments for school aged children.

Gloria Gemma is a private nonprofit that is committed to celebrating the lives of those touched by breast cancer in the greater Rhode Island area. Located in Pawtucket, their mission is to celebrate and nurture life in our local community before, during and after a breast cancer diagnosis by providing education, access to wellness resources and support programs to all those touched by cancer. They are the “second call” for those diagnosed and needing direction. Gloria Gemma is funded solely by the generosity of private and business donors, grants and sponsorship of fundraising events.

Founded and launched customized mentoring and business accelerator program for medtech entrepreneursOversaw all aspects of program, including branding, website development, media relations, and event management. Developed partner network of more than 30 entrepreneurial, technology transfer, and venture capital organizations to promote MedTech IGNITE and refer entrepreneurs to the program.Designed a quarterly educational series of “Boot Camps”, providing entrepreneurs with expert advice on financing, market segmentation, and regulatory processes that habitually drew 300 attendees from the industry’s finance, manufacturing, and supplier sectors. Engaged more than 30 CEOs, venture capitalists, and academics to provide free mentoring and business assistance to MedTech IGNITE’s 10, pre-vetted startups. Graduated two startups in a year, who received angel and venture capital funding, and were ultimately acquired.
