The Hotchkiss School is an independent boarding school located in Lakeville, Connecticut. A. Colarusso and Son, established in 1912, is a family owned and operated heavy highway contractor—creating infrastructure, roads, bridges and ports, and otherwise non-building construction. Based in Hudson, New York, the company is also a producer of crushed stone, sand and gravel, and hot mixed asphalt.

Northfield Mount Hermon is a coed, independent boarding school of 655 students in grades 9–12 plus a postgraduate year.
