Central Rock Gym provides the highest quality indoor climbing experience for beginner to advanced climbers. Our route setting, friendly staff and cleanliness give you the ability to train your hardest and push yourself to the limit, while the community of climbers will provide a great source of fun, and a place to engage with others. Our rock wall designs are state of the art and include the best top-roping, leading, and bouldering around. Walltopia and Rockwerx have worked in some of the best slabs, lead arches, aretes, beginner areas and steep slopes that any gym has seen, while maintaining open areas for competition viewing and relaxation between climbs. Founded at another location in 1900, Worcester Country Club contracted with renowned architect Donald J. Ross, who personally oversaw the design and construction of a gem that stretches to over 6650 yards and plays to a par of 70. Ski Ward Ski Area, once known as Ward Hill Ski Area, has been in operation since 1939 and is one of the oldest continuously operating ski/snowboard areas in the country.
