IFAW explores new ways to improve conditions for animals, people, and the place we call home—and we’ve been leading the way for over 50 years. The problems we confront are urgent, complicated, and resistant to change. Solving them requires fresh thinking and bold action. So we look at the issues from different angles, make unexpected connections, and challenge the way things are done. Partnering with local communities, NGOs, and governments around the globe, we create real-world solutions that make an immediate and lasting impact.

At SSCAC, we fight poverty and stand for the most vulnerable in our communities – our elderly and disabled neighbors, our children, our unemployed friends. Since 1965, we have provided opportunities for education, training, and employment for low income people living in all our South Shore communities. Last year, we stood for nearly 20,000 people, so they could live with dignity and realize their fullest potential. We stand with our communities. We employ over 175 people and do business with more than 250 companies, large and small, from Hull to Cape Cod and the Islands. We coordinate our programs and services with nearly 600 community partners to leverage resources and provide wrap-around assistance to those in need. #OurCommunityInAction

The Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth has been serving the youth of Plymouth and the surrounding area since 1911 (prior to 1988 as the Boys Club of Plymouth). The Club serves youths from the age of six to eighteen. It serves youths by providing a safe environment where they may engage in a variety of activities.

The EDI Institute promotes recovery and emotional resilience through the imagery people create on their mobile devices. In collaboration with McLean Hospital, we have innovated new techniques for therapeutic self-expression. Our partners include the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and the Lurie Center of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Our team includes leaders in the fields of psychiatry and mental health, expressive therapies, and photography from MGH, Lesley University, and Partners HealthCare. The EDI Institute is committed to improving clinical outcomes by identifying and disseminating best practices, performing scientific research, and innovating new technologies.
