Established for non-construction workers, LNIPF covers workers in a broad range of employment, including professional, dental, manufacturing, and service contracts. Federal government, public sector and others in various job classifications are also covered by the Fund. There are more than 24,000 active participants covered by the fund while more than 13,000 retirees are receiving benefits. LNIPF is governed by a Board of Trustees that is composed of three Union Trustees and three Employer Trustees. It is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees to administer the Plan in the best interests of Plan Participants
