Service Coordination, Inc. is a private, nonprofit organization providing case management services throughout the state of Maryland to individuals with disabilities, those with complex medical needs and serious mental health disorders, transitioning youth, court-involved individuals, older adults and veterans. CSS provides quality, community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Individuals are supported in accordance with their needs in school, work, home, and the community. Services are designed by the individual, the individual's family, and others who know the individual well. Services are rendered in the environments in which the individual desires to live, work, recreate, or pursue educational goals, and are designed to support each to pursue his or her own self-directed life goals.

The Arc Montgomery County connects people of all ages and abilities with their communities to build inclusive and fulfilling lives. People with intellectual disabilities have a safe place to live at CPARC, and services that encourage them to grow. “CPARC helps us grow and grow and grow, like a flower,” says Bryan, one of the folks we support. Just 60 years ago, people with disabilities were living in institutional settings. At that time, the only option for parents of a child with a disability was to place their child in a state institution. A group of concerned parents created CPARC in 1953 to offer an alternative to institutionalization for their children with special needs. The mission of The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is to empower, inspire, and educate people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and the community. “You help people, like my son, feel self-sufficient,” one mother says.

Bar-T provides care and innovative programs for over 2,500 children within 30 before and aftercare centers, 6 preschool classrooms, an outdoor education facility, and two Early Childhood programs in Montgomery County, MD.
