Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP), is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 1972. ACAP provides guidance to the community in responding to emerging human needs in the areas of Prevention and Wellness, Early Care and Education, Energy and Housing, and Workforce Development. ACAP's Mission Aroostook County Action Program leads or collaborates to provide services that support, empower and improve lives.

Central Aroostook Association has proudly served individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 60 years. The Association was founded by a group of parents who felt that their children deserved to be educated, employed, and live in their own communities, so they created that opportunity. We have grown from our humble beginnings; each year we provide hundreds of children and adults throughout Aroostook County with the necessary support to reach their highest level of personal development. The mission of the Presque Isle Housing Authority is to assist low and moderate-income families with safe, decent and affordable housing opportunities as they strive to achieve self-sufficiency and/or to improve the quality of their lives. The Housing Authority is committed to operating in an efficient, ethical and professional manner without discrimination. The Housing Authority will create and maintain partnerships with its clients and appropriate community agencies to accomplish this mission.

Aroostook Area Agency On Aging is a health, wellness and fitness company based out of 1 Edgemont Dr, Presque Isle, ME, United States.

Founded in 2012, Carlos Lopez & Associates, LLC is a prime contractor with the U.S. Department of Veterans Administration (VA) providing HUD-VASH Case Management services to assist homeless veterans in securing and maintaining stable housing and preventing a return to homelessness. In collaboration with the local VA campus, we provide professional, client-centered and customer-oriented services in Los Angeles, New York and New Jersey.

Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc. (AMHC) was founded in 1964 as a non-profit community mental health center. The agency has been a provider of behavioral health (BH) and related services to adults and children in rural Maine for nearly 60 years. Today the agency is the largest behavioral healthcare provider in the region with nearly 30 service locations across Aroostook, Washington and Hancock counties offering an array of mental health, substance use, crisis, sexual assault, prevention, and brain injury services (Aroostook). AMHC serves nearly 5,500 individuals per year and employs 325 caring, compassionate staff members. AMHC is committed to an integrated, patient-centered approach in all services, characterized by a high degree of collaboration among community and health professionals and led by the client as the focal point of all services. No individual will be denied access to services due to an inability to pay. A discounted/sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income. In 2021 the agency was designated a Recovery Friendly Employer, joining the Northeastern Workforce Development Board’s Recovery Friendly Employer network, making visible AMHC’s commitment to offering a healthy, safe, and stigma-free work environment to eliminate barriers to recovery for those impacted by addiction. AMHC is also a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) host organization.
