AUPP High School-Foxcroft Academy was created through a partnership with Foxcroft Academy (FA), which is part of an almost two hundred years long-standing tradition of excellence. FA was established as a private secondary school on January 30, 1823, becoming the first school to be chartered after Maine became a U.S state. AUPP High School-Foxcroft Academy was established as a private high school on November 02, 2020. With the approach of the 21st century, our school is highly focused on a four-year full-time program which is designed to follow the American high school education program from Grade 9 to 12. AUPP High School offers a fast-paced curriculum in partnership with Foxcroft Academy by using a highly tech-driven educational system to help students reach their greatest potential. AUPP HS-Foxcroft Academy is recognized as a private academy preparing students to succeed in college and educating students to explore diverse educational systems. Hurricane Island Outward Bound School’s methodology places equal emphasis on development of character and intellect. Expeditionary learning can occur nearly anywhere: in the classroom; on a grueling mountain ascent; in the post-course debrief, or in the days following a return from the wild. HIOBS programs now extend from Maine to Florida, and all the way to the Caribbean and Central America. Through Outward Bound Professional, HIOBS also extends some of these principles to improve the culture at some of the biggest companies and organizations in the world. Outward Bound Professional has developed a robust and calibrated method of evaluating the challenges facing an organization, and then developing tailored programming to explore these dynamics and move any group in the right direction. It is based on our track record, but reactive to the situation at hand — a blend of both art and science.

Historically, Good Will-Hinckley has been a home to youth facing complex academic, social, behavioral and emotional challenges. Today our 1,000 plus acre campus operates four major programs: The Maine Academy of Natural Sciences, L.C. Bates Museum, Glenn Stratton Learning Center, and College Step.
