As the Finance Manager, responsible for overall maintenance of financial accounting systems to manage cash, AP, AR, internal financial reporting, grant & regulatory reporting and responsible for the annual audit process. On a monthly basis, created monthly financial statements for the Board of Directors. In addition, participated in every board meeting along-side with the Executive Director. Selected Accomplishments: 1. Identify, create, and enact different methods/systems within the accounting functions of the organization throughout my time which allowed for the consolidation of my original position while allocating responsibilities in a way to increase internal controls. 2. Created a comprehensive spreadsheet which was able to identify, track and provide relevant measurements as it related to our accounts receivable. This included pulling information from our accounting system as well as MaineCare on a monthly basis. 3. Multiple financial and data analytic projects to directly assist the Board with a variety of potential strategies.
