Southern Crane and Hydraulics Service department- Our service department mechanics our readily equipped for most projects at hand. Each of our mechanics specialize in their own individual areas. Hydraulics, Friction, pneumatic, and various other fields. Most all have worked on or are familiar with most types of heavy equipment (Cranes, Forklifts, Jack-ups, davits, ETC….) Hydraulic Department- Our Hydraulic shop has experience with most cranes, power units and gearboxes. They have a wide range of experience from complete hydraulic crane refurbs , new construction, gearboxes of all types ( crane and lift boat) , power units, winches, motors , pumps etc….. Our new construction and assemblies usually consist of power units and dive equipment. Fabrication Department- Our fabrication department has experience with new fabrication and repair. They have experience working with many types of crane booms ranging from lattice, box, telescopic and knuckle booms. Our welders are 6 GR certified and ABS certified. There repairs range from changing lacings to building entire sections of boom. Experiences in crane repairs are very diverse. Training Department- Operator and rigger training courses as per API and OSHA are also available. We have two trainers whom have years of experience and have been complimented by many of their experienced students on their training and classroom skills Rental Cranes- We have several lattice boom rental cranes that are on sites in Cameron, Houma, Venice and Fourchon. Cranes consist of all linkbelts and (1) Grove picker. Southern Crane and Hydraulics has been established since 1989. We have been a strong competitive business for over 23 years. We believe that customer satisfaction is the key to a good business relationship and work to no end to ensure are customers come first.
