The position was responsible for general sterilization but developed into an assistant role throughout my tenure at Lawless Orthodontics. The below provides details on tasks commonly completed during the day:• Sterilization of all cassettes and equipment • Capture of both panoramic and cephalometric x-rays• 3-D scanning for retainers and Invisalign• Removal of rubber bands from patient’s dental work • Orthodontic Assistant’s aid • Customer service seating and attending to patients

• Managed aging reports and account receivables from dental insurance companies, resulting in $150,000.00 back pay from MN Health Care • Ensured all providers were appropriately credentialed in a timely manner to maximize revenue capture, meet applicable industry standards and practices, and compliance laws and standards • Prepared itemized statements and record amounts due for services rendered. • Verified accuracy of billing data and revised any errors.
