TRADITIONAL BANK, INC.
TRADITIONAL BANK, INC.
Mt. Sterling, Kentucky
100-499 employees
Traditional Bank is not new to community banking. Our story begins in 1902 when two banks were formed in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. In 1988 they merged, and that new bank would ultimately become known as Traditional Bank. Since the merger in 1988, all of the bank’s growth has been organic. We have not purchased any banks, but have instead grown through referrals from satisfied clients. And we think that says a lot about how we do business. We have always believed that people make the difference and that great service is what sets us apart. Today we couple those principles with a broader geographic reach, best in class commercial bankers and customer-focused technology so we can remain competitive while still giving our customers the personal banking experience they deserve.

CHRISTIAN APPALACHIAN PROJECT, INC.
CHRISTIAN APPALACHIAN PROJECT, INC.
Paintsville, Kentucky
100-499 employees
For over 50 years, Christian Appalachian Project has served the people of Appalachia by building hope, transforming lives, and sharing Christ’s love. Our work started when Reverend Ralph W. Beiting, a Catholic priest from northern Kentucky, was assigned to pastor a large portion of east-central Kentucky. Through his outreach, he witnessed tremendous poverty in Appalachia. He saw children weak from hunger, families beaten down by hardship, seniors living in fear and isolation, and communities desperate for hope. With the help of family and friends, he provided food, clothing, and other essentials to neighbors in need. What started small quickly grew, and Christian Appalachian Project was founded in 1964. Through donor support, dedicated volunteers, and a selfless staff, CAP now touches the lives of more than 1 million people each year. By working with other local food banks and humanitarian service providers, our reach extends to parts of all 13 states of the Appalachian region, including Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The mission of Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) is building hope, transforming lives, and sharing Christ's love through service in Appalachia.

ALE-8-ONE BOTTLING COMPANY INC.
Winchester, Kentucky
50-99 employees
Ale-8-One has a storied history that dates back to 1926. The company's founder and inventor G.L. Wainscott was an unconventional man with innovative ideas. After bottling soda and flavored drinks in Winchester, KY for many years, G.L. Wainscott developed Ale-8-One formula with its unique ginger taste. The product was launched July 13, 1926, and Wainscott sponsored one of the first product naming contests at the Clark County (Kentucky) Fair. "A Late One," the winning entry was a pun adopted for its description as the latest thing in soft drinks. To this day, the company continues to be locally owned and family operated by G.L. Wainscott's great-great-nephew, Fielding Rogers. He still mixes up the closely guarded family secret Ale-8 recipe using Wainscott's hand written notes.
