The KSU Foundation is K-State's strategic partner for philanthropy. We inspire and guide philanthropy toward university priorities to boldly advance K-State. Foundation staff members work in close partnership with university administrators, deans and faculty to secure charitable contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations to support identified priorities for the university and K-State 2025. Gifts received through the foundation fund undergraduate and graduate student scholarships, establish faculty chairs and professorships, provide college and departmental support, and enhance the campus infrastructure. After the money is raised, it must be prudently managed. This function is managed by foundation staff members who work under the guidance of an advisory committee of trustees. Note: The Kansas State University Foundation was established in 1944 and is a separate, independent entity chartered by the state of Kansas as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit education corporation. Gifts made to support K-State through the KSU Foundation are used according to the donor’s wishes and may not be reallocated by the state. Gifts to the foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

The Kansas Association of School Boards is a not-for-profit organization located in Topeka, Kansas and dedicated to serving members of governing boards for unified school districts, community colleges, area vocational-technical schools and cooperatives, interlocals and regional service centers. Vendors, exhibitors and other service providers can also become members. Currently the association represents 286 school districts and 39 cooperatives, service centers, community colleges and technical colleges. We also have service associate members and associate members (former boards of education members). In all, the association provides support and service to close to 3,500 governing board members and staff. More young people need the kind of hands-on, youth development experiences that 4-H provides. Experiences where they can learn by doing, grow from failure, express their ideas and use their influence to drive positive outcomes. The Kansas 4-H Foundation brings private funds to assist and maintain the Kansas 4-H youth development program. The Foundation builds on the tradition of bringing Kansas 4-H together with financial support from the private sector. With more than a half century of partnerships, the Kansas 4-H Foundation creates relationships with corporations, businesses, interest groups and individuals who believe in youth and express that belief through financial donations.

The United Way Director of Community Engagement, Douglas County (Roger Hill Volunteer Center and AmeriCorps Program Director) supports the mission of the United Way by leading the development, implementation and outcomes measurement for the volunteer and AmeriCorps member engagement strategy which aims to create opportunities for improving lives for all by focusing on our community impact goals of health, education, and financial stability. The Director plans, develops, implements and monitors all volunteer and AmeriCorps program activities with the goals of (1) engaging and inspiring individuals and organizations to serve our community through volunteerism, and (2) supporting United Way and our Community Impact Partner programs and operations. The AmeriCorps & Volunteer Program Director is responsible for the following areas: a. Volunteer Programs, which includes the recruitment, training, supervision, mobilization and recognition of volunteers for the United Way and community nonprofits to help achieve organizational goals. The Director is responsible for ensuring a well-coordinated volunteer program to ensure agency volunteer needs are met, including the recruitment and placement of volunteers to serve direct service programs and organizational operational needs. b. AmeriCorps Program, which includes managing a community AmeriCorps program to meet the capacity needs of local nonprofits and the human service needs of Douglas County, and includes grant writing, grant oversite and reporting, member recruitment, training and management, and coordination with Host sites. c. Resource Navigation & Community Impact, which includes supporting the Eudora Resource Navigator and Peer Support Specialist to meet the needs of clients and human service needs as the Resource Navigation program is developed. This includes background screening and onboarding of potential navigators and/or peers, attending collaboration meetings, and potential grant writing.

The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) has been dedicated to improving trailer safety and performance for more than 30 years. The association represents manufacturers that produce light- and medium-duty trailers and suppliers of products and services to these manufacturers. NATM seeks to promote awareness of safety and provide a voice for trailer manufacturers and their suppliers when issues of trailer safety and regulation are considered by Congress and relevant government agencies. NATM is dedicated to improving trailer safety. One way this is accomplished is through a mandatory Compliance Verification Program, requiring all Regular members (trailer manufacturers) to verify they have the manufacturing processes in place to build trailers that meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and industry best practices.

The Kansas Masonic Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established for the purpose of expanding Masonic Philanthropy in the fields of charitable, educational, and scientific programs. The Foundation is totally funded by voluntary gifts and endowments from Kansas Masons, their families, and friends. No portion of the dues of any Masonic body goes to the Foundation. The Foundation was initiated in March of 1966 at the 110th annual communication of the MW Grand Lodge of AF&AM of Kansas when M∴W∴ Richard L. Becker, under the Grand Mastership of M∴W∴ Owen E. Hodgson, made a motion to allow the MW Grand Lodge of AF&AM of Kansas to form a Masonic Foundation. The motion was passed without opposition. The Kansas Masonic Foundation became a reality with its chartering and incorporation on July 15, 1966 under the direction of M∴W∴ William E. Montgomery. Since that time the Kansas Masonic fraternity’s Foundation has grown in great proportions. Kansas Masons, through the Kansas Masonic Foundation, have supported many worthwhile charitable endeavors over the years. The Foundation is governed by a board of fifteen Trustees. The Trustees are appointed by the Board of Trustees for staggered three-year terms. The Trustees meet, as required by the Foundation’s constitution. The Annual Meetings are held each March prior to the MW Grand Lodge of AF&AM of Kansas session. From its members, the Board of Trustees elects a president, executive vice-president, vice-president and secretary/treasurer for one year terms. The president also appoints Associate Trustees to serve on various Committees.
