Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA) is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative created out of the need for reliable, affordable electricity in America's heartland. We don't have customers, we have members. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, WVPA provides wholesale power to 23 distribution cooperatives in Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri that serve over 334,000 residential and business members (which makes us a co-op of co-ops). The local land conservation organization of Eagle County, Colorado. Eagle Valley Land Trust (EVLT) is dedicated to serving the local community and conservation at large. EVLT protects land permanently to build a legacy for this generation and those to come. EVLT is proud to hold over 11,000 acres in conservation through 36 different conservation easements. This includes 35 miles of public trails, 10,500 acres of critical wildlife habitat, and 10.5 miles of river access. EVLT is motivated to establish a protected open space within a walk or bike ride from the work or home of every Eagle County resident. EVLT protects the land and facilitates community engagement and collective ownership of community open spaces. EVLT promotes community conservation in two ways.
