WABASH VALLEY POWER ASSOCIATION, INC. DBA WABASH VALLEY POWER ALLIANCE

Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA) is a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative created out of the need for reliable, affordable electricity in America's heartland. We don't have customers, we have members. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, WVPA provides wholesale power to 23 distribution cooperatives in Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri that serve over 334,000 residential and business members (which makes us a co-op of co-ops). In other words, we're not selling electricity to customers and we're not working for shareholders. We're providing electricity to members who are actually owners. And we are guided by the seven principles that govern all co-ops. Our unique approach to supplying electricity has positioned us for years of very competitive electric rates. By using a variety of fuel sources to supply electricity, such as coal, natural gas, nuclear, landfill gas, solar and wind, we manage our risk for more predictable rates, no matter what the future holds. From our role in establishing ACES, Touchstone Energy®, and MISO to developing highly successful POWER MOVES(R) energy efficiency programs and Co-op Solar, WVPA continues to look to the future to deliver stability and growth. We are a deliberately different kind of power company. And that's good news for the people who depend on us. Operating for the benefit of our customers and communities, Citizens Energy Group is a public trust providing clean, efficient, and reliable energy services to customers throughout the Indianapolis area. Mission We fulfill the Promise of the Trust to provide essential utility services for our customers and communities, maintain the lowest possible rates with sound financial management, and create the greatest long-term benefit through a unique business structure. • The mission reiterates what we do and what makes us unique. • The mission states “we fulfill the Promise of the Trust”, rather than “we will fulfill the Promise of the Trust”, to reflect that our employees are actively and purposefully fulfilling that promise every day. • The statement “unique business structure” has been added to separate us from other utility service providers. Citizens is the only broad-based utility service company operating as a public charitable trust. Company Overview Citizens has a single focus on customer service because its visionary founders, including Colonel Eli Lilly, chartered the company in 1887 as a Public Trust. Using a not-for-profit approach, Citizens either returns profits to you in the form of lower rates or reinvests profits to make its facilities more reliable and efficient. While most utilities are beholden to the quarterly demands of out-of-town stockholders, the unique Citizens Trust simply means everything we do is focused on serving you.
