A nationally certified Woman Owned Business founded in 2004, TLS by Design Custom Furniture serves a variety of markets. TLS offers over 300 standard frames for project specification, yet offers a comprehensive custom furniture capabilities. TLS stands for Total LifeStyle and produces both upholstery and casegoods in the USA with standard 6-8 week lead-times. We also offer imported guestroom casegoods programs with 16 week lead-times. Our 53,000 square foot factory, a repurposed formerly abandoned automotive components facility, is well-lit and climate controlled year-round, providing a comfortable work environment. Unlike most other furniture producers, we do not pay our employees a piece rate, and instead provide a living-wage and benefits which encourage quality production. We provide warranties which are among the best in the industry. In residential markets we warrant our frames and our seat cushions for the life of the product. In commercial markets we warrant frames for ten years and seat cushions for two years, For d ining seating and barstools our warranty is one year. In 2010, TLS was a Sage Award finalist for our environmental stewardship, with one of the smallest carbon footprints, with over 70% of our content coming within a 100-mile radius of the factory. A mattress manufacturer uses all of our scrap polyester fiber, and a local charity recycles all of our cardboard, using the proceeds to better serve the community. We remain committed to environmental excellence and to our community. TLS has a strong Private Label program, providing exclusive production of our client’s unique designs.
