“This ain’t Rocket Science. Sell cars, make money, do it the RIGHT way and have fun doing it!” It all began when William E. Hays bought the Hull-Dobbs Ford dealership located in downtown Louisville. He renamed the dealership Town and Country Ford and built a new and modern facility at 6015 Preston Highway where it remains today. Today, Billy Hays heads the Hays Automotive Group with Town & Country Ford as the flagship store, dealerships in three states, and exciting plans to expand with future dealerships in the surrounding region soon. A third generation of the Hays family, Justin Hays, has joined his father as Corporate Vice President of the Hays Automotive Group. ROPPEL INDUSTRIES INC.
ROPPEL INDUSTRIES INC.
Louisville, Kentucky
50-99 employees
Roppel Industries was founded in 1947 by brothers Virgil and John Roppel, both of whom had recently returned from active duty in World War II. The company began as a two-man radiator repair facility and through hard work and superior customer service evolved into the multistate company it has become today. By the 1960's, Roppel had begun both the manufacturing and distribution of radiator cores along with other heat transfer products. The third generation of Roppel family management is currently in progress with the addition of Ryan and Corey Roppel, both sons of Tom and grandsons of Virgil. After both graduated from the University of Kentucky the young men worked their way up through the company; Ryan by opening and managing the Knoxville, Tn. distribution facility and Corey by managing the retail stores, especially the radiator service center. Both are currently in the corporate office where Ryan is now the vice president of wholesale operations and Corey is vice president of wholesale sales. Roppel Industries currently consists of four retail service locations, one heat transfer service and repair facility, a Bosch / Robinair warranty, service center and nine warehouse distribution centers. The warehouses are spread across Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana. With over one hundred employees and a fleet of over fifty vehicles along with various contracting delivery services, Roppel's is well positioned to get the correct product to the right place at the needed time. The B to B service offerings of Roppel Industries have also evolved over the years. Roppel's still offers radiator repair and replacement but now those services have expanded into literally anything that transfers heat! From the smallest heater core or transmission cooler to huge Komatsu and Cat radiators. We service, repair and replace hydraulic, engine and transmission coolers, gen sets and condensing units are just a few of the myriad of heat transfer products available for service.

Craig and Landreth Cars was founded by Larry Craig Sr. in 1975. Larry Craig Sr. and Larry Joey Craig Jr. have worked hard to expand the operation to 6 locations and over 500 vehicles available. This growth was possible by following a simple measure: provide late model, low mile and hard to find vehicles and to treat guests the same as you would want to be treated. Pick out a vehicle you like, drive it and we will tell you what it takes to buy it. Removing the games allows true relationships to be built between our guest and staff! The service doesn't stop when you do Business it Craig and Landreth Cars, it actually begins!
