THE EVANGELICAL CATHOLIC
THE EVANGELICAL CATHOLIC
Madison, Wisconsin
1-24 employees
Our goal is to raise up local leaders who will launch and drive movements—eventually without our help. We feel an urgency and call to work with as many Catholic parishes, campus ministries, and ecclesial bodies as possible. Most of them have no idea how to launch movements of evangelization. They don’t know how to raise up more lay people who can make disciples. They are stuck. People who continue to come to Mass have immeasurable potential. They need vision, formation, training, and tools to accomplish their mission in the world. When Catholics leave behind their passive, sporadic Mass-attending mindsets and embrace a purposeful life of discipleship, everything changes. When a parish is not just raising up more disciples, but training disciple-makers, they experience tremendous fruitfulness and growth in every dimension of their mission. The Evangelical Catholic (EC) provides leadership to local Catholic ministries to launch movements that raise up disciple-makers through expert coaches, consultants, and robust online resources. Our model is more scalable than a corps of missionaries, but not so scalable as to lose the personalized coaching that deeply equips leaders. Ministries sign contracts with the EC to engage one of our experienced ministry staff members. Our staff meets with a Point Person at their ministry at agreed-upon intervals to guide them step-by-step through the necessary formation and training to launch a movement. Throughout this process, they rely on the Reach More™ Evangelization Coaching System, an online learning management system, to deliver all the content used throughout this consulting process. The Reach More System is full of practical, transferable tools that leaders hand-on to other Catholics for use in their personal outreach.
