KOREIN TILLERY, LLC
KOREIN TILLERY, LLC
St. Louis, Missouri
50-99 employees
Korein Tillery—based in St. Louis, Chicago, and San Diego—is one of the country's leading plaintiffs' complex-litigation firms, representing a broad array of clients in high-stakes lawsuits. We bridge the historical divide between the resources, quality-of-representation, and national coverage offered by large, full-service law firms and the creativity, agility, and financial flexibility offered by boutique litigation practices. By providing world-class legal representation within a business environment more reminiscent of a Silicon Valley startup than a traditional law firm, Korein Tillery offers clients a superior, cost-effective way to manage substantial litigation risk. For decades, Korein Tillery has successfully guided its clients through protracted, multi-faceted litigation against some of the most powerful and well-funded adversaries in the world. Our firm consistently prevails in legal wars of attrition not only because we have the resources to prosecute claims as vigorously as they are defended, but also because we have the experience, mettle, and motivation to go the distance every time. We're no strangers to decade-long cases, multi-million-document productions, endless discovery battles, and repeated trips to the appellate courts. And our results speak for themselves: we've obtained billions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for our clients over the past decade—all without submitting an "hourly" bill. In recognition of our distinguished track-record of significant victories, the National Law Journal has named Korein Tillery as one of the country's top plaintiffs' firms seven of the past ten years.

MACKEY MITCHELL ARCHITECTS, PC
MACKEY MITCHELL ARCHITECTS, PC
St Louis, Missouri
25-49 employees
In October 1968, Gene Mackey—with a passion for architecture and a will to succeed—took a risk. He opened a one-man office on the 20th floor of the Railway Exchange Building in downtown St. Louis with 800 square feet and a view of the Mississippi River. His risk paid off; more than 50 years later Mackey Mitchell has thriving offices in St. Louis; Asheville, North Carolina; Lawrence, Kansas; and Dallas, Texas. Mackey’s influence and guidance developed the firm into a group of thought leaders driven by a philosophy of life-long learning and dedication to the power of human potential. Mackey Mitchell is now a proven expert in planning, design, construction, and renovation for higher education—including residential, social, dining, and academic facilities—as well as K-12 and special needs education, workplace, and civic + cultural facilities. Having designed buildings for more than 85 higher education clients, we understand the anatomy of a successful campus and what attracts students to it. Our broad range of student life experience gives us uncommon insight into how each generation chooses to engage with their university spaces.

Fox Smith LLC is a firm of civil trial lawyers with experience in handling high-level litigation. We have worked on many highly publicized civil cases in the areas of admiralty, product liability, class action, professional liability, medical malpractice, commercial, pharmaceutical, employment and environmental litigation. EAST-WEST GATEWAY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
EAST-WEST GATEWAY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
Saint Louis, Missouri
50-99 employees
The East-West Gateway Council of Governments (EWG or Council) provides a forum for local governments of the bi-state St. Louis area to work together to solve problems that cross jurisdictional boundaries. The geographic region that East-West Gateway has served since 1965 is the 4,500 square miles encompassed by the City of St. Louis; Franklin, Jefferson, St. Charles, and St. Louis counties in Missouri; Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair counties in Illinois. East-West Gateway’s designation as a regional council of governments (COG) means that the agency has the civic responsibility to set the table for cooperative planning and problem-solving among and between any of its member local governments who believe that they can accomplish better things by working together than by acting separately. Although much of this cooperative planning takes place among the eight major jurisdictions of the region, it is not uncommon to find several small cities and towns clustered around a community betterment initiative at East-West Gateway. These initiatives address issues as diverse as tax policy, environmental quality, public safety, workforce development, access to jobs, economic development, community planning, and others that might be of interest to members of the Board of Directors.
