Anthony Liftgates, Inc. is the leader and inventor of hydraulic truck liftgates - producing innovative designs and building quality lift gates for trucks of all sizes. We are the original name in liftgates - since 1941.

In 1985, Mitsubishi announced that they would build an assembly plant in Normal, Illinois, as a joint venture with Chrysler Corp., Called Diamond-Star Motors. Mitsubishi knew that to succeed, they would need a strong, proven supplier base to support them in the U.S. So they asked our parent companies to build a plant in the U.S. near the Diamond-Star plant to continue supplying them with the same quality products that they had supplied for decades in Japan. The original 16 parent companies formed a corporation called Nippon Eagle Wings, and made preparations to build a new state-of-the-art facility in Rantoul, Illinois - which they named Eagle Wings Industries. The decades of experience and technical knowledge achieved in Japan was ingrained into the EWI facility from the first shovel of dirt, and continues to play a vital role in the way we do business today, in our business philosophy and our associates'​ attitudes and work ethics. Some of our parent companies have supplied Mitsubishi Motor Corp. in Japan with quality automotive chassis sub-assemblies for more than 60 years. Over the years they have developed new technologies and processes. Some of these designs and processes are protected by patent laws.

We started in 1982 with only manual machining. By 1986 we added our first CNC machines, and we have been constantly adding advanced technology ever since. In addition to grinding, CNC milling, and CNC turning, we also offer specialized and advanced processes including wire EDM, abrasive waterjet, swiss turning, high speed 5-axis milling, and metal additive (metal 3D printing). We also have a big focus on automated production. Around 75% of our production CNC lathes and swiss machines have bar feeders and can run unattended. We are also approaching 50% automated capacity for production 3-axis and 5-axis milling, allowing lights-out manufacturing of medium to high-volume production quantities. While we will always be committed to being your best source for prototype and low volume jobs, our automated processes give us the capacity to handle your largest production quantities as well.

Since 1945, Mid West Fabricating has been a leader in the cold forming of steel into specialty fasteners and formed rods. These specialized products are destined for assembly into automotive and lawn and garden projects, as well as various industrial and consumer items in the highway, construction, housing, utility, recycling, and irrigation markets. Mid West is family owned and operated. A certified WBE, Mid West consists of three operating divisions. Our headquarters is located in Amanda, Ohio. In 1961, our west coast division was opened in Santa Fe Springs, Ca. In 1990, Mid West expanded again with the opening of the specialty fastener division located in Lancaster, Ohio.
