Since 1969, the Handicapped Development Center has been a not-for-profit organization supporting people with disabilities. We believe all individuals are endowed with the same fundamental rights and needs, are entitled to opportunities promoting the fulfillment of those rights and needs, continue to develop throughout their lives, and should have the opportunity to become contributing members of their community.

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions provides strengths-based, family-centered, trauma-informed social services to individuals and families who have experienced life-changing trauma, abuse and neglect, and other life challenges . Our six core programs provide the necessary tools to help children, families and individuals cope, heal and thrive. Services include Adoption, Foster Care and Intact Family Services, Counseling, Guardian Angel Home Residential Center, New Day Senior Services and Youth, Family and Community Outreach Services. Headquartered in Peoria, we service 20,000 children and families in need across 37 counties throughout Central Illinois.

We offer a range of programs and services to provide EP!C individuals with the educational, residential, employment, and care taking resources they need. By empowering our participants to live their best life, we enrich their lives, the lives of their family members, and larger Central Illinois community. Educational Services: Participants have the opportunity to engage in sensory learning, adult life skills education, work skill acquisition, gardening, and computer activities. We also offer unique extracurricular activities and clubs, including art, dance, fitness, radio, volunteer, cooking, music, and more. Community Living Services: Participants have multiple accommodation options with EP!C. They may choose to live in group homes of varying sizes with around-the-clock care, be more independent in an apartment setting, or be matched with a host family. Employment Services: EP!C offers a variety of employment opportunities through community and organizational employment to meet the abilities and needs of our participants. We also provide job and work skills training in preparation for employment, continuing job coaching during employment as needed.

At Project NOW we strive to eliminate the causes of poverty through strategic initiatives and alleviate the negative conditions where poor people live through strategic partnerships.

Our mission is to help all people - women, men, and children - to live free from violence and abuse. The Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) is the only agency in the state of Illinois to provide combined, comprehensive free and confidential services to women, men and children, of all ages, who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, human trafficking, or elder abuse. CFPA also provides Adult Protective Services to disabled individuals, between the ages of 18-59, who have been affected by abuse. Additionally, CFPA provides school based prevention education to nearly 36,000 students annually, with programs on body safety, anti-bullying, conflict resolution, and healthy relationships. CFPA has two domestic violence shelters in Peoria and Pekin, offices in the Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford County Courthouses to assist with Orders of Protection and facilitates an abuser re-education classes are offered in another Peoria office. Medical advocates are available 24/7 to respond to victims of sexual assault and/or domestic violence who obtain medical treatment in the emergency departments of area hospitals. Annually, CFPA serves more than 5,000 individuals seeking peace.

Skyline is a comprehensive organization providing Community Living Services, Day Habilitation Services, Supported Employment Services, Home Health Services, Skilled Nursing, Industrial Services, and Physical and Occupational Therapy to all individuals in need. The organization is a Medicare certified Home Health agency and accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Private Pay, and VA Services. Skyline Center has a unique work program that provides jobs to individuals with disabilities who take pride in enhancing and improving their personal skill levels while manufacturing top quality products. The Production Facility offers products for sale. Cotton cleaning products are manufactured out of 100% pure cotton flannel. The patches are durable and can effectively clean built-up residue, dirt, grease, and oil. Skyline's Gun Cleaning Kits contain all the products and tools needed to clean and maintain weapons for optimal performance and reliability. To continue to sustain this complex organization, Skyline has also been providing industrial services such as, co-packing, light assembly and order fulfillment to businesses in the Clinton, Iowa area for over 56 years. The production facility boasts 40,000 square feet of warehousing, five loading docks, a computerized inventory system and all necessary manufacturing supports. Products and services are made and performed in the USA and packaged by Americans with disabilities.
