The Gee Automotive Companies began in 1983 when George Gee fulfilled his dream of starting a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, Washington. The business thrived under George and his wife, Theresa, and soon became the largest Pontiac dealership in the state of Washington. In 1991, GMC was added and in 2000 the business was relocated to expansive new facilities in Liberty Lake, WA. In 2003, after working his way up through the business, Ryan Gee assumed the role of President and CEO. Ryan built on the legacy of his parents, and soon grew the company to include Buick, Porsche of Spokane, Kia in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene and Cadillac in Coeur d'Alene. Beyond franchises and facilities, Ryan has also focused on building the talent base of the organization. He has brought on many skilled managers, including Jeff Jackson, who would assume the president role in 2010 with Ryan as CEO and Dealer Principal.
