-Administers plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
-Administers compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
-Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, annual enrollment processing and support, and communicating benefit information to employees.
-Develops and maintains affirmative action program.
-Advises management on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
-Conducts recruitment effort for all personnel; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career development program, writes and places job postings. Interviews and selects applicants.
-Schedules, plans, and conducts all new hire orientations and training programs.
-Provides current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
-Plans, develops, and attends staff meetings.
-Analyzes training needs to design employee development, training presentations, and health, safety, and risk management programs.
-Administers and maintains safety program.
-Performs difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
-Acts as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions and complaints regarding the work environment, interpreting and administering contracts, policies, and procedures, and helping resolve work-related problems.
-Represents the company at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
-Assists with and supports payroll processing, procedures, and related activities
-Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
