Founded in 1935, Magnolia is a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing supports to adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. We offer support and services in twenty group homes, supported community living, a vocational/day habilitation program, and supported employment. STAFF RECRUITMENT, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT, AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS Redefined job requirements and job descriptions for all positions to maintain organizational structure. Designed a recruiting and interviewing program; provided expert advice to managers on candidate selection; facilitated exit interviews; and proposed needed changes. Equipped employees for new assignments through comprehensive orientation and training programs. Closely monitored and assessed employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; organizing management conferences with employees; understanding and resolving employee grievances; as well as counseling employees and supervisors.
