In 1947, we started a credit union for employees of the territory of Hawaii and the county of Kaua’i. • Spearheaded full-scope accounting operations encompassing annual budget development and administration, month-end close, financial projections, trend analysis, expense control, and accounting-related project management. • Managed risk-based pricing software and performed due diligence on vendor contracts to optimize P&L performance and mitigate credit risks for $95M organization. • Governed a broad range of investment portfolios including CDs, bonds, mortgage-backed securities, loan participation pools, and stock market performance portfolios.• Formulated prudent short- and long-term investment strategic plans to support organizational goals focused on budget growth projections.• Structured initial implementation of mobile banking/deposit service by performing vendor due diligence, evaluating core processor integration complexities, analyzing membership demographics, and coordinating marketing tactics which targeted millennials.
