In February 2013, Keer America was founded in Lancaster County, South Carolina as the base of operations for the Keer Group’s expansion into the North American market. The Keer America headquarters rests on a 165 acre textile campus that the Keer Group plans to invest $218 million into over the ensuing five years. Altogether there will be over 1.61 million square feet of facilities that create over 500 new jobs. Our first plant has production capacity of 30,000 metric tons of yarn per year. The second plant has been designed for ring spun and will operate 75,000 spindles with 50 metric tons output daily. Product range will be 6-40 count both carded and combed yarn. The ring spun productions is scheduled for late spring 2018. Keer America Corporation is a subsidiary of the Keer Group. Founded in 1995 and based in Zhejiang, China, the heart of China’s textile industry. The Keer Group has a total registered capital of over RMB 538 Million Yuan (USD 88.7 Million) and assets totaling nearly 3.5 Billion Yuan (USD 571 Million), costing 100 Million Yuan a year in taxes and dues. With over 2,000 employees worldwide, the Keer Group has developed into a diversified and integrated enterprise that is focused on textile manufacturing, supported by real estate development and supplemented by trade and other investments, including a recent diversification into the gold jewelry market.
