Opened in March of 2015, the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery (formerly Tennessee Stillhouse) is the home of Chattanooga Whiskey’s micro-distillery and tasting room. Located across from the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo on downtown’s Market St., the historic distillery was the first legal distillery in Chattanooga in over 100 years. Following Chattanooga Whiskey’s successful “Vote Whiskey” campaign, the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery brought whiskey production back to Chattanooga, finally making up for 100 years of prohibition and bringing whiskey back to the people. The Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery offers whiskey enthusiasts and novices the chance to learn about and experience the whiskey production process from grain to glass with daily tours and tastings. It also serves as Chattanooga Whiskey’s research and development lab. Our 100-gallon system allows our team to hand-craft innovative mash bills, all while staying true to tradition and striving to build a better bourbon. Chattanooga Whiskey is currently expanding and scheduled to open a larger production facility on the Tennessee River in the Spring of 2017. Please check out the new company page for employment opportunities and additional updates on our growth.
