BURNS KULL AUTOMOTIVE

Marlton, New Jersey

In 1925, William Burns bought a Used Car lot in Newark, NJ, and several years later after hard work and innovative customer service, he was awarded a Pontiac franchise. His sons, Robert and Edward would eventually join him in his successful family business, and when Richard Kull was brought in to help continue growing the business the Burns-Kull Auto Group was born. Burns Pontiac opened in our current Marlton location in 1973, eventually to be joined by GMC and Hyundai franchises at that location. A lot has changed since Mr. Burns founded the company with just five employees over 90 years ago. Sadly, the Pontiac brand closed their doors in 2009, and while we were disappointed to see the brand dissolve, we were excited to welcome the Buick brand into our Marlton line-up, along with Commercial trucks which came on board in 2013. You can find Burns Buick GMC Hyundai at 500 West Route 70, where our current staff is made up of over 170 dedicated and hardworking team members, and we continue to make customer service top priority just as Mr. Burns did when he started the company! At Burns, we strive to be much more than a business. We are partners with our community and as an employee, you will get a chance to give back as well. Here are some ways that we lend our neighbors a helping hand. Evesham Township Fireworks We are proud to sponsor the Evesham Township Fireworks every Fourth of July. Habitat for Humanity Our Commercial Truck department partnered with Habitat for Humanity. Food Bank of South Jersey Through November and December we collect donations from employees and customers. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer For every service appointment and test drive taken during October, Burns made a donation in Sandy Gee's memory of $4,000. The Valerie Fund From June through October, we donated $5 for every car sold, totaling over $7,000. Jaws Youth Playbook Burns supports the Jaws Youth Playbook, which focuses to improve the overall health and wellness of at-risk youth.

F.C. KERBECK & SONS
F.C. KERBECK & SONS
Palmyra, New Jersey

In 1899, Charles F. Kerbeck, patriarch of the Kerbeck family and grandfather of the three Kerbeck brothers who are the present day owners, began bringing his dream of providing quality transportation to the growing Philadelphia-area population. Horse drawn carriages evolved into coaches powered by gasoline engines, which evolved into automobiles. Over 100 years later, the Kerbeck dealerships are among the most prominent and successful in America, with 16 highly successful franchises, 12 different brands and six separate showrooms. It is, unquestionably, one of the great American success stories. In the early 1920’s, Frank C. Kerbeck continued in his father’s tradition by opening an automobile dealership in Philadelphia. In the early 60’s, as the population spread outside of the city, Kerbeck opened what was at that time a very large showroom on Route 73 in Palmyra, N.J. at the foot of the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. He named this new establishment F.C. Kerbeck & Sons and began a unique marketing plan: selling pre-owned Cadillacs exclusively. After Kerbeck passed away in 1968, his wife Jennie along with his eldest son Charles, operated the dealership. Shortly thereafter, Charles’ two younger brothers, George and Frank, joined the business and the company began developing into the mega-dealership of today. In the late 1970s, the Kerbecks foresaw an exciting opportunity and expanded into Atlantic City. They began growing, earning the respect of manufacturers and aligning themselves with General Motors, they were awarded highly coveted franchises for Cadillac, Chevrolet and Pontiac. To meet the increasing demand another large operation in Pleasantville NJ was added where they earned franchises for Subaru and Mitsubishi. At the dealership in Palmyra NJ where it all started, luxury car franchises were awarded by Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Aston Martin. On the domestic front, Buick and GMC were added to the pre-owned Cadillac and Lincoln division.
