The Laffey-McHugh Foundation was established in 1959 by Wilmington attorney Arthur G. Connolly, Sr., his wife Gerardine Laffey Connolly, and her first cousin and closest friend Alice Laffey McHugh. Over the years, other family members and community leaders were invited to join the Board of Directors to carry on the philanthropic legacy created by the original founders. Delmarva Poultry Industry Inc is a farming company based out of 16686 County Seat Hwy, Georgetown, DE, United States.

Manages the Foundation’s scholarship programs, including developing the scholarship application, managing the application process, maintaining scholarship records, timely funding scholarships, providing direct support to all scholarship recipients, developing and managing wrap-around support for scholars, and developing financial literacy programming for scholars. Overseeing research on best practices designed to enhance scholarship programs is an additional requirement.• Establish timeline and criteria for scholarship awards. Develop and publish applications. Responsible for developing and expanding the high school and junior high ministry programs through the establishment of a youth program and curriculum, preaching the gospel, the defining of a group identity, organizing recreational activities, implementing outreach, and training and mentoring a volunteer staff. Directly responsible for coordinating weekly meetings, administrating the youth budget, fundraising, and equipping the youth staff.
