Develop cable specifications (transmission and distribution), design criteria and feasibility studies of new transmission cable projects, including cable rating (ampacity) calculations and project cost estimates. Tailored to specific projects, develop installation manuals, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, pulling tension calculations, and impedance calculations. Witness required transmission cable prequalification (PQ), qualification (Type), production, and sample testing, and perform factory audits worldwide. Provide testimony as an Expert Witness. Participate in failure analysis to determine root cause. Act on behalf of utilities as an Owner's Engineer.In addition, teach courses annually on Power Cable Ratings and Extruded Dielectric Cable Systems.
