CEA is the largest advocate for students and public education in Connecticut. Our members include preschool through grade 12 teachers in Connecticut public schools as well as retired teachers and college students preparing to become teachers.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides “a different kind of healing” to more than 25,000 seriously ill children and family members annually – all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearm industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of thousands of manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen's organizations and publishers nationwide.

Founded in 1996, the Western Mass Economic Development Council collaborates with business leaders and key regional stakeholders to develop and execute the vision, strategies, and tactics that stimulate and facilitate a vigorous regional economy, encouraging and sustaining capital investment and quality job growth for Western Massachusetts. The EDC is committed to positive economic development in the region, which will further improve the quality of life for surrounding communities and their constituents.

Founded in 1972, Way Finders builds and advocates for a thriving and equitable region by improving the stability and economic mobility of families and individuals, together with developing and managing a wide range of housing to support strong communities. The largest nonprofit housing provider in Western Massachusetts, Way Finders provides housing counseling, financial education, employment training, affordable housing development and management, rental assistance, homelessness prevention services, neighborhood revitalization, and community building.

One of the oldest organizations of its kind in the country, CPA was founded nearly 150 years ago to champion criminal justice reform and advocate for preserving the dignity of those in and out of prison. Through our programs that include reentry and housing, youth initiatives, a nationally-recognized Prison Arts Program, and holistic alternatives to incarceration, we provide the long-term impact that positively transforms individuals and society at large. Annually serving nearly 7,000 individuals throughout Connecticut, our work is possible due to partnerships with and support from individuals, government, private funders, organizations, and businesses. TVCCA is a private, non-profit Community Action Agency, incorporated in 1965. We are well recognized as a community leader and partner in advocating for and meeting the needs of the region’s economically and otherwise disadvantaged citizens. Services include: Housing: Assisting households facing eviction or homelessness. Housing Services can also help with the search and application process for senior housing options in New London County. Energy Assistance: Financial assistance toward a household’s energy bill; emergency assistance if a home’s service is shut-off or about to be, or out of fuel; other energy related services including heating system repair and replacement, budget counseling, and referrals for weatherization. Nutrition Assistance: WIC is a supplemental food/nutrition education program for eligible pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, and infants/children to age 5. TVCCA’s Meals on Wheels delivers hot, nutritious meals to seniors, allowing them to remain independent in their home. Case Management: Accessing programs within TVCCA, the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services, and throughout the community like food banks, furniture banks, and housing applications. TVCCA also helps to prepare new DSS applicants for eligibility determination interviews. Financial Education: Supportive services designed to foster and develop positive household budgeting and credit management skills, and to assist households with overcoming their current hardships by taking command of their financial futures. Childcare and Preschool Programs (Early Head Start, Head Start, and Little Learners): TVCCA provides affordable, quality, comprehensive infant/toddler, pre-school & childcare programs that serve children from birth through age five. Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is a not-for-profit charity serving children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities across New York City and Long Island. Since 1930, Little Flower has been committed to improving the lives and well-being of children, families, and people with developmental disabilities across NYC and Long Island so they can reach their full potential. Our staff of over 500 people builds well-being by providing foster boarding home care, residential treatment care, adoption services, programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and medical and mental health services. Every day Little Flower strives to fulfill its mission to serve children and families weathering life storms and adults with developmental disabilities in need. We are proud that we were able to accomplish the following in 2020, despite the challenges we faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Little Flower heroes continued to serve to ensure the well-being of those we serve and: Helped 8 children find their forever families through adoption Served 558 children in loving foster families Cared for 128 children in the Residential Treatment Center and Inner Lights Program Helped 144 children return to their own families Assisted 58 young adults to navigate aging out of foster care to begin life on their own Assisted 471 children and families access critical health care through the Health Homes program Helped 140 adults with developmental disabilities lead more rewarding lives
