CEA is the largest advocate for students and public education in Connecticut. Our members include preschool through grade 12 teachers in Connecticut public schools as well as retired teachers and college students preparing to become teachers.

We’re a global girls’ rights organization. Powered by supporters, we partner with adolescent girls and their communities to overcome oppression and gender inequality. We provide the resources that are unique to their needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential with dignity, opportunity and safety. Our unique development approach is called GirlEngage. We let girls become the drivers of the change they want and need in their lives. It is a strategy focused on adolescent girls ages 10-18 that makes it possible for girls themselves to lead our programs – from designing projects, to leading activities, to measuring success.

Programs include the Entrepreneurship Initiative, Local Farmer Awards, Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Awards, and ener-G-save.

Founded in 1964, HopeWell is a nonprofit social services agency headquartered in metro Boston with regional offices across Massachusetts. Our mission is the driving force behind everything we do: We enrich the lives and expand the opportunities of children, adults, and families in need of love, support and safe places to grow and thrive. HopeWell’s programs provide a range of critical services to individuals, children, and families across Massachusetts. We are the largest nonprofit provider of foster care in the state. Our programs also support education outcomes for students in grades K-3 who are experiencing foster care; young adults who are transitioning out of the foster care system as they launch into adulthood; families who are working to stay together; and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For six decades, we have aimed to be leaders in care and a force for good.

For over 120 years, The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) has responded to the needs of animals and the people who care about them. In fact, we are often the first to respond. With over 1,000 dedicated volunteers and 100 staff members, ARL lends unwavering support to local animals, families, and neighborhoods. We provide outstanding veterinary care, adoption, and field services. We also confront the root causes of animal cruelty and neglect through special police investigation and advocacy aimed at strengthening the laws that protect animals. Last year alone, we served more than 23,900 animals in need. Today, we increasingly focus on prevention and the impact we can have on more animals; keeping them out of shelters and in the communities where they belong. This ambitious call to action is reflected in our new vision for the future. ARL does not receive government grants or public funding (with the exception of limited COVID-19 relief funding) and relies on the generosity of our supporters to help animals in need. Mystic Aquarium is a division of Sea Research Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, and is counted among the nation’s leading aquariums with more than 300 species and an extensive collection of marine mammals, including New England’s only beluga whales. Mystic Aquarium has been a pioneer in offering guests a variety of up close encounters with a wide range of marine animals. The Rhode Island Community Food Bank provides food to our neighbors in need through our network of member agencies and promotes long-term solutions to the problem of hunger. In partnership with our member agencies, as well as government and community leaders, we work to ensure that no one in Rhode Island goes hungry. What We Do Since 1982, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank has solicited, stored and distributed surplus food and grocery products to qualified member agency programs that serve Rhode Island's hungry. Millions of pounds of donated food and nonfood household products are distributed to the community through our network of 160 member agency food programs across Rhode Island. Additional Programs The Food Bank also serves Rhode Islanders in need through the following programs: Community Kitchen - A food service training course. Community Kitchen students prepare meals for the Kids Cafe, which serves evening meals to children at risk of hunger.
