Established in 1972, the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) is the independent, private-sector, not-for-profit organization based in Norwalk, Connecticut responsible for the oversight, administration, financing, and appointment of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). The FASB and GASB establish and improve financial accounting and reporting standards – known as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or GAAP – for public and private companies, not-for-profit organizations, and state and local governments in the United States. The FAF directs the effective, efficient, and appropriate stewardship of the FASB and GASB in carrying out their missions; selects and appoints FASB and GASB members and their advisory councils; oversees the Boards’ activities and due process; and promotes and protects the independence of the Boards. The FAF Board of Trustees comprises 14-18 members from varied backgrounds—users, preparers, and auditors of financial statements; state and local government officials; academics; and regulators. Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides “a different kind of healing” to more than 25,000 seriously ill children and family members annually – all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearm industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of thousands of manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen's organizations and publishers nationwide.

Founded in 1996, the Western Mass Economic Development Council collaborates with business leaders and key regional stakeholders to develop and execute the vision, strategies, and tactics that stimulate and facilitate a vigorous regional economy, encouraging and sustaining capital investment and quality job growth for Western Massachusetts. The EDC is committed to positive economic development in the region, which will further improve the quality of life for surrounding communities and their constituents.

Clinical & Support Options Inc. (CSO) is a community-based nonprofit behavioral health agency providing individuals and families with comprehensive, holistic care throughout Western Massachusetts and the North Quabbin region. With 16 locations in five Massachusetts counties (Berkshire, Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Worcester), CSO offers an “Open Access” model, with walk-in availability and “No Wrong Door” coordinated entry. CSO embraces a trauma-informed culture in fulfillment of its mission to provide responsive and effective interventions and therapeutic services to support adults, children and families. CSO serves more than 18,000 individuals and families annually in their quest for stability, growth and an enhanced quality of life. CSO provides a full range of behavioral and mental health and substance abuse outpatient services, including: • Urgent outpatient assessment & treatment • Diagnostic evaluations • Therapy for children, adolescents and adults • Child and adult psychiatry • Sexual abuse and trauma treatment for survivors and families • Treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD and general adjustment disorders • Group therapy • Structured outpatient addiction programs • Medication management • Intensive outpatient programs CSO Crisis Programs provide behavioral health assessment, intervention and stabilization for youth, families and adults 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. CSO’s Family Support Services are part of the Massachusetts Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI). CSO’s Friends of the Homeless (FOH) provides a warm bed and hot shower to more than 1,100 individual adults each year and serves 157,000+ hot meals to anyone in need of food. In addition, FOH case works help FOH guests find work and permanent homes, navigate state and federal assistance programs and access mental health supports.

Founded in 1972, Way Finders builds and advocates for a thriving and equitable region by improving the stability and economic mobility of families and individuals, together with developing and managing a wide range of housing to support strong communities. The largest nonprofit housing provider in Western Massachusetts, Way Finders provides housing counseling, financial education, employment training, affordable housing development and management, rental assistance, homelessness prevention services, neighborhood revitalization, and community building.
