Green inside and out, Denver Botanic Gardens is considered one of the top botanical gardens in the United States and a pioneer in water conservation. The Denver Art Museum has been a leader in educational programming for more than two decades. The Geological Society of America (GSA) unites a diverse community of geoscientists in a common purpose to study the mysteries of our planet (and beyond) and share scientific findings. Members and friends around the world, from academia, government, and industry, participate in GSA meetings, publications, and programs at all career levels, to foster professional excellence. GSA values and supports inclusion through cooperative research, public dialogue on earth issues, science education, and the application of geoscience in the service of humankind.

The Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) is a forerunner in the placement of site-specific sculpture in Colorado. MOA specializes in creating environments that promote a range of sculpture, as well as performance art. Our art collection is located within various public locations throughout the Denver metro area. From commercial office parks to botanic gardens, city parks and traditional sculpture gardens; art is placed to interpret space as "a museum without walls." Employing a combination of art, architecture, and landscape, MOA is best known for integrating these disciplines in order to create exemplary environments. Foremost, the Museum of Outdoor Arts believes in 'making art a part of everyday life' by integrating the arts into public spaces accessible by all. MOA is headquartered at Marjorie Park / Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre where it hosts a range of seasonal art events, programs and art installations. The park is also available to rent for private events.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver is an innovative forum for contemporary art that inspires and challenges all audiences, creating understanding and dialog about art of our time. MCA Denver has five distinct galleries, three spaces for education, multiple sites for special projects/commissioned works and one live art/lecture hall. Founded in 1996, MCA Denver was formed to provide the city with its first contemporary art museum.

Urban, industrial creative district just north of downtown Denver. RiNo is home to galleries, studios, restaurants, and many small businesses, as well as the annual Crush street art festival, which brings in over 75 street artists and muralists from around the world every September.

Dinosaur Ridge is located within the Morrison-Golden Fossil Areas National Natural Landmark just west of Denver, Colorado on Jefferson County Open Space park land. An esteemed panel of paleontologists ranked Dinosaur Ridge the #1 tracksite in the U.S. for the quality and quantity of fossils, and because of the easy accessibility for viewing. This location is the site of the first Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, and Apatosaurus discoveries made during the so-called Bone Wars of the late 1800s. Open 362 days per year, visitors can take a self-guided walking tour marked by interpretive signs, listen to an audio tour, or take a 45-minute guided bus tour along the Dinosaur Ridge Trail. Guided walking tours and group tours are also available. The closed-to-traffic paved trail also attracts bicyclists year-round and is frequently voted best hiking and biking trails by locals. Round trip, the trail is just over 2 miles and features more than 300 dinosaur tracks embedded within 15 fossil and geological sites. The Main Visitors Center includes a gift shop and exhibit hall, and a second Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center also displays museum items and offers souvenirs. Friends of Dinosaur Ridge is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1989 to manage efforts to protect and preserve the historical artifacts along Dinosaur Ridge, as they are in their natural settings, and to educate the public about the fossilized remains of dinosaurs and crocodiles that lived in the area more than 100 million years ago during the Cretaceous and Jurassic time periods. About 200,000 people visit Dinosaur Ridge each year, some participating in the numerous educational programs offered by staff and volunteers. Children's Summer Camps, Walks with Geologists, Adult Field Trips, Lecture Series, and remote learning opportunities.
