ECOFLIGHT
ECOFLIGHT
Aspen, Colorado
All Size Average employees
EcoFlight educates and advocates for the protection of remaining wild lands and wildlife habitat using small aircraft. The aerial perspective and our educational programs encourage an environmental stewardship ethic among citizens of all ages. Founded in 2002, EcoFlight provides a commanding platform to the tremendous challenges we are facing in conservation in the twenty-first century. The objective aerial perspective helps passengers become good practitioners of their tasks and encourages them to learn from one another in order to advance conservation campaigns. EcoFlight is devoted to connecting people and organizations in the plane. Facilitating dialogue in the plane provides a rapid way to share ideas with over 400+ different conservation partners, from grass-roots to national organizations, working to ensure the long-term protection of wildlands and wildlife habitat, and, in the process, working to halt climate change across the West. Flights will be used to connect diverse groups, even those with opposing opinions, to help share ideas that will promote effective land conservation tools and strategies. Flights with diverse passenger loads will help inspire collaboration between unlikely partners, and communicate values important to all Americans, those associated with clean water, fishing, hunting and hiking, and those acknowledging the value of cultural and historical landscapes. Conservation is a bipartisan issue. Flights emphasize why fossil fuels should stay in the ground, and ensure that renewable energy siting does not affect wildlife or wild lands. Overflights will empower and impact passengers and will ultimately serve to strengthen the land conservation movement in the West, leading to more durable and effective resource protection.
