Our mission is to promote environmental stewardship and community health through nature education, wildlife rehabilitation, and outdoor recreation. Our campuses are open to the public at no cost, and we provide scholarships to ensure our summer camps are accessible to all. A parking fee applies at our Pueblo location.
The NWDC River campus alongside the Arkansas River in Pueblo, CO features a Raptor Rehabilitation center, raptor and nature education programs, fishing, hiking, biking, boating, and more.
The NWDC mountain campus in Beulah, CO features trails for hiking and biking, lodging for overnight stays at the historic Horseshoe Lodge, event spaces, outdoor archery range, challenge course, picnic areas, and more.
